In our daily life, the living environment is very important. But in dailylife people in the protection of the environment is not very seriously.
For example, our surroundings. There are many flowers in the lawn behindour district. But in the lawn, but also some people throw garbage, heap wastepaper. In summer, there are many mosquitoes flying there, not only affected theimage of the district, but also polluted the environment. On the community, onour health are very unfavorable, but also destroyed the earth.
In order to make our environment beautiful, not hurt. There are many oldpeople to clean the streets, green lawns. They go home early and late, for thegreen environment of the motherland at all costs. But those who do not careabout the environment but also to destroy, we must do not love the environmentto do ideological work, so that they get rid of bad habits as soon aspossible.
On the way we go to school, there are also many students throwing waste.For example: some students throw the snack bag in front of the school gate, andsome students to stack a good paper plane random throw, or even thrown into theschool along the wall. Their behavior not only once again affect the school,back to the day to do the day the students brought a lot of trouble.
At the school, the teacher told again and again, to persuade, but somestudents do not listen to persuade, but continue to destroy the environment,shorten the life of the earth.
On one occasion, the school organizes our 2-6 grade classmates to pick upwhite rubbish on the lawn of the pond park. But when I walk there, looked down, but I was stunned. There are lots ofrubbish on the ground. In the face of this lawn, so that we work hard, efforts to eliminate thosegarbage. After 100 minutes of our labor, the lawn finally returned to theoriginal beauty,

The world we live in is becoming more and more intolerable because of environmental destruction. For example , forest destruction results in decrease of planting land and unpleasant weather. In addition, man is faced with problems of water pollution and air pollution.
A lot of measures have been taken. Planting trees helps improve and beautify the environment. Besides, laws concerning environmental protection have been put into effect and achieved good results.
However, the problem of environmental protection remains far from being solved. On the one hand, the environment pollution and destruction are getting worse and worse in the modern world. On the other hand, the lack of knowledge about the importance of protecting environment hinders the solving of the problem. In a word, there is a long way to go before we enjoy a clean and comfortable world.

we, as school students, can also join in recycling activities to protect the environment. for example, our class set up a recycling center beside the back door, it is very useful. it is used to collect the waste paper and plastic ……
we all know famous indian poet once said, "life is given to us, and we earn it by giving it." as the saying goes, nature is given to us, and we earn it by contributing to it. however, most people nowadays just want to ask for more from the nature. in fact, they do very little contribution to the nature. therefore, the environment around us is becoming worse and worse.
do you often use batteries? then do you know it takes 50 times more energy to make them than they produce? and just one simple battery can pollute as much water as a person can drink in his whole life. the facts and figures are amazing. so would you please try to use batteries only when it is necessary? if possible, give the used ones to the recycling companies so that they will be made into new ones and won’t be able to pollute the environment any more. sometimes we become complacent when it comes to recycling, but when you speak in terms of actual facts and figures that everybody can understand, people become much clearer about the problem.

we should always remember in our mind that protecting the environment is our duty that we can never neglect. finally would you please let me end this speech with a little poem, "be kind to the river. be good to the trees. smile at the sunshine, and bow to the breeze. be friendly to nature, and nature will be friendly to you!"
on a saturday morning. i went to have breakfast. i felt there was a terrible smell and went over to have a look carefully. i found that there was a big pile of banana skins giving out the then a young fellow holding a dustpan rubbish to walk towards here . he raised his hands, the big pile of rubbish was here. at once i went to him and said "uncle , you can’t do like this . these things will rot very soon. it’s bad for our health and make the people fall ill." however ,the man said "everyone does so ,who falls ill,who will see the doctor."
looking at this , i remembered another act : there is a stream through our village. over it there are two bridges the age of seven years old , i enjoyed the beautiful scenery under the bridge very much. it was the best place to swim in summer. but now the rubbish was getting more and more leaves,fruit skins,dead ducks and chickens….
after rotting ,not only the mosquitos flew around but also the bad smell made everyone feel quite gh the stream was cleaned up several times, it’s still happening now. a lot of plastic bags always float on it summmer we have to go far away from the village to swim.
what causes this? who is the devil?it’s the human ourselves. i have got to known from a book rubbish in the countryside mostly occupies the fields and damages the earth’s surface pollutes soil,wave ,atmosphere and damages our health. the adults often say "the body is capital." but why are they able to make woollen cloth like this ? does it affect everybody’s safe and sound life ?
schoolmates, we are the host of society tomorrow . it’s our duty to improve and build the safe invironment.
safety is in our hands must take park in more environmental protection activities, plant more trees and flowers to make us live in a beautiful home with the blue sky ,blue water and green land forever.
It's my great honor to be invited here to give a speech on environment.As we all know the environment is very important to us. Because it has a great effect on us.So we should protect our environment .
In fact ,we can do many things to improve environment such as planting trees, collecting waste paper, write to the local newspapers to remind everybody to take care of it.The most important thing is,I think ,to let everybody know its importance and everybody should make a contribution to it .
As long as we try, we can make it. We strongly believe that we can do it !

We live in the world every day. We eat food, drink water, wear clothes,watch TV, use computers and so on. We are producing waste every moment.
Generally speaking, there are four sorts of waste. They are material waste,organic waste, inorganic waste and poisonous & harmful waste. Now, we aregoing to talk about each sort of waste one by one.
Material waste: it means the waste of substance or things from whichsomething else can be made. For example, people throw away the used metalproducts and buy a new one, so the old metal waste accumulates. At last, theybecome waste. For example, when people finish reading newspaper, the paper willbecome waste.
When the glass is broken, it also becomes waste. Nobody wants to use abroken window or drink with a broken glass or wear a pair of broken glasses.Once it is broken, it becomes waste. The rate of using plastics is increasingday by day. People use plastic bags because they are convenient. When they gethome, they throw the plastics way, paying no attention to the environment. Themore convenience plastics brings to us, the more plastic waste is produced.
This is called “white pollution” as most plastics are white. Some of ourproducts we use every day are made of rubber, just like the tyres and the bottompart of our shoes. It’s true that rubber plays an important role in our life.However, it also brings us some trouble when it has been used for a long timeand becomes old. The old tyres become waste because it can’t break down bynature. This is really a big problem.
